Finance career ideal a levels

Ive currently chosen Maths, accounting and physics as my a levels to pursue a career in accounting but with a fallback to a job in finance. Would it be better to choose economics over physics to help me stand out when it comes to looking for a degree apprenticeship or going to university?

Depends on what you want out of it. Choosing either Economics or Physics won't actually change anything in terms of standing out, but dependent on your strengths, one of the subjects would be easier to do well in than the other, which should be your priority.

Degree apprenticeships and universities in this industry (finance/accounting) all either have no specific subject requirements OR they want you to have taken Maths. Almost no where will you be asked to have A Level Physics or Economics.

Maths, Economics and Physics should be your chosen combination of subjects. A-Level Accounting is too time consuming and very different to degree Accounting at degree level.

Maths and FM.
You don't need Economics, and no degree requires A level accountancy.
