IAL Business studies

If anyone is taking IAL edexcel business or any similar business studies course, do you think it’s achievable to get good grades joining in year 13 and catching up with all of year 12 work. I did take gcse business and econ so u would be semi familiar with a level business espeiclly year 12 as its said it be very similar to gcse. Please if anyone can help 😭

Realistically, no. Assuming you have other subjects to study for, it would be extremely difficult for you to study for your other subjects and study the whole of business in 9 months. Business requires a lot of essay writing practice, and many people struggle with getting good grades in business.

That makes sense but the thing is it’s between that or sticking with physics which i got a U. so i would have to retake all of physics whilst keeping up with new content. Both options are very difficult, im wondering whats realistically easier.

Ah bio and maths require quite a lot of effort. You did business in GCSE so you do have a good foundation. I'd say that if you are ready to put in the effort, then go for it.
