Law help - Greenwich or SOAS?

Can someone tell me straight - which uni is better for law, greenwich or soas? in normal cicumstances i would go for soas, however soas has offered me a foundation year to the course (4 years) whereas greenwich gave me an offer for the 3 year llb law course. can someone whose potentially gone to either just tell me based on a number of categories which is best (e.g. opportunities, resources, teaching, value for money). im a little older then the average uni starting age which is again making me apprehensive in taking a 4 year course. thank you. (add birkbeck into the mix).

Hi there, my name is Aleezay and I am a 2nd year LLB law student at SOAS.

SOAS has an amazing academic atmosphere. The academics are experienced and they have researched in depth in the fields which they teach. You have lots of support available here, from your academic advisor, academics and lots of other departments too. In terms of law, there are work experience opportunities available such Pro Bono and working at detainment centres. SOAS library has an immense number of resources available, lots available online too which is very convenient.

I can understand that a foundation year being offered can make you decision a bit difficult. However, foundation year is a great way to build on your skills and prepare yourself for 1st year of your degree. It gives you time to decide on the subject you want to do and if it is the right one for you.

I hope this helps!

SOAS is better, it's also ranked 14th and also got magic circle alumni. It's much more reputable especially given law's already elitist nature!
