ELQ and part-time exception course

If I have got 2 bachelor degrees (both BSc) and a masters (MSc).

I now would like to study for part-time BSC (Hons) Data Science at Birbeck, will this course be one of the part-time exception courses that I can get full support ( both part-time tuition and maintenance loans) from SFE?

Would the fact that I’ve done 2 bachelor degrees and a masters degree affect eligibility?

Hi William,

This would be an exception course studied part time as long as it leads to one of the following:

part time honours degree

joint honours degree

integrated masters degree.

Thanks, Jason

Hi Jason, can I confirm that even though I’ve already got 2 bachelor's degrees, I’ll still be eligible as long as this is an exception course (e.g. BSc Computing as a part-time exception course)?

is it correct to say the part-time exception course does NOT have to be the second degree?

Many thanks

Hi William,

As long as the course is an exception and is listed above as Jason advised, then this is fine. It doesn't need to be your second degree.

Thanks,
Claire
