Repeat a year

I’m studying music technology and unfortunately, I failed my second year. This was due to my mental health issues, which I had discussed with my university GP. I had 10 credits missing from my first year’s course, which may prevent me from repeating a year. They informed me that I would need a certificate of higher education (which I have achieved), as this could enable me to become a direct entrant into the second stage of my course. I’m deeply distressed about this situation because I managed to secure a loan to cover my tuition fees for the last two years.

i am looking for a direct entry in the second year of a course i hold a certificate of higher education 110 credits for Coventry uni I’m looking for advice on how to apply for a September intake failing that a January intake. I know the standard is 120 credits to go into the second year but i also hold a certificate of higher education from another uni i left to join Coventry. Would it possible to start in the January if I can’t start in September ?
