Accommodation for Vet Med student

Hi, pls can you recommend the best en-suite accommodation close to the new Vet building. I see there is IQ Kopa, what is that like? Does it feel like you are still on campus?

Hi @janeanderson99,

I haven't stayed in IQ Kopa myself however have heard good things about it. It is really close to the new Vet building but also the campus. It's probably not even a 5 minute walk to the university square so it's a great location.

During my first year I stayed in university halls (Roeburn). This is something I would recommend to anyone just starting university. It's the cheaper option as well. You can find out more information on our accommodation here, with en-suite options too: UCLan Accommodation

During my second year, I then went into private halls and stayed at Tramshed which is even closer to the university square but also only about a 5 minutes walk away from the Vet building. After this, I went into a flat with friends I made during my time at uni 🙂

Starting with university halls was a great introduction to living out. Everything was sorted for you easily, great helpful accommodation teams as well as security! The security teams are great on campus especially the halls. Do let me know if you have any questions for me 🙂
