Essex uni - moving in weekend
I’m due to move in to the Towers on 27/28 September. How busy do the lifts get on moving in weekend? Does it take ages?! Thanks

Moving weekend can be very busy and lifts will be quite busy as well!
Some tips I can give you are to time your trips so you could move your things in when it is less busy during the day such as mid afternoon or later ish. Early mornings and lunchtime can be peak periods 😅
Another tip is to try to use suitcases or bags with wheels so its easier to take things to your room even without the lift! There will be trollies near the car parks or receptions during the weekend so look out for them!
