Super-curriculars for studying Economics in University

Hi everyone,

Im currently going to go to Y11. I am really interested in studying Economics at Oxford University. Alongside academic grades, I was wondering what else I should do in order to really impress the university and boost my chances of getting in. Since I'm about to give my GCSEs this year I want to do something relatively simple for now, but powerful enough to build my Economics skills, and I hope to expand on them further in Year 12. I was looking for any super-curricular activities which I can do now, and later on in Y12/13, which would be worthwhile. I was thinking of starting now as I believe that this is the perfect time, in order to be fully prepared by the time it comes to apply for universities a few years from now. Any ideas are much appreciated!

Thank you!
