Deferred entry

Does anyone know if I can say apply for veterinary medicine for 2026 entry and to the same course and same university for deferred entry (2027) in the same application to increase my chance of getting into the university I want

You'll have to contact the university directly to see if they will accept you deferring your entry, as not all universities allow this.

If the university doesn't accept deferred applications and you still want to go to a different uni, then you can take a gap year to re-evaluate and make your application stronger for the next UCAS cycle.
