Hey! I'm just about to start my second year at LIPA, a couple people I know have stayed with second/third years in first year and it was all good! Obviously I know most people also live with first years but it's not necessarily a bad thing to be living with second years  what accomodation are you gonna be staying in?

Cathedral campus is generally quite good!! I don't live there personally but my boyfriend and absolutely loads of my friends do, it's obviously got some little frustrating things about it but that's gonna be the case absolutely anywhere you go tbh! It is definitely terrifying moving far away from home, but it'll all be alright eventually  what course you joining?

Ahh I do theatre and performance design, so our courses do overlap somewhat  obviously I'm not *on* the tpt course but I do know some techies very very well so if you have any questions you're more than welcome to ask and I'll do my best

Living with second years can actually be a bonus - they already know how things work at uni and around Liverpool, so you’ll probably pick up tips quicker. As long as everyone’s respectful, it usually works out fine.

Hi! I’m also staying at cathedral campus and starting at LIPA this year. Just wondering how you found out who else is in your house?

Hi 👋 @Abi.gail25

I know of a few people who were placed with people in other years when moving to university, and they were all really welcoming! Speaking from experience, the majority of people are all very open to making new friends at all points in university.

However, you will still have the chance to speak to people in your year, especially during welcome week events! so you should not worry

Best of luck! and i hope this helps
-Molly
