Bristol accomadation east village

Ive been allocated St Thomas street accomadation and I'm unsure what to do because it is nothing like anything I asked for. I heard that its quest and mostly overseas students (but I applied to all north village accoms so that's kind of the experience I wanted). Has anyone else been allocated here/ was there and can say anything about it? Not sure if I should go through clearing for my insurance choice because I know the accomadtion available is the experience that I want or if I should just try it out.

I wouldn’t change uni for a question of accommodation which only lasts one year!! You’ll make friends on your course and in the societies that you join. Your accommodation is near the river where there are loads of good pub, bars and restaurants and not too far from most lecture halls. After a night out getting home would be easy. In the north village you would have to take the minibus or Uber to get into town and back home if you go out for the night. So even though the north village has more of a campus feel there are advantages to being in the East village.
