Remark

I am in the process of getting my a level physics papers remarked as i missed my firm offer by 2 marks, ive asked for an update from my teacher and was told they werent sent yet and not to hassle them during the holiday, my deadline to send my firm the remark is on the 31st of august and the school is sending the papers 1 by 1 so im worried it would take too long. what should i do?

You should contact the Exams Officer at your school. Unlike a regular teacher, they will be aware of the importance of getting the request sent to the exam board as soon as possible. For a "Priority Review of Marking" (which I what I hope you requested) the deadline for the exam board receiving the request is 21 August (Thursday). The exam board then have a deadline of 15 calendar days to complete the review (although they're often quicker than that). In the ideal world, all such requests should have been submitted to exam boards on A level results day.

Ive been told that the paper has been sent and the teacher will forward the result of the priority remark, if this is the case then should i still seek out the exam officer?
