switching to Business Management from another major

I really wanted to study Management at Manchester, but I have an offer for English. I was wondering if Manchester has ever allowed you to switch to Management in the past in the first semester?? Or if you have been able to switch to anything, could you let me know your grades and what you switched to??

I would advise you to contact UoM to see if this is possible. At Manchester Met, once you have enrolled it can be possible to change courses but it is never guaranteed as it depends on whether there is space on the course you want to move to and if your academically eligible. We usually advise our students who want to change courses to speak with their Course Tutor in the first instance once enrolled.
I'd also mention that we also allow offer holders to request a course change before enrolling via clearing, if the course is open to applications so this may be a possibility at UoM - worth calling them to check what your options are.
