Remark for KCL

Hi! I am a Y13 student and I just got my results a couple days back. I kept Kings as my firm for PPE (which has a grade requirement of A*AA) but on the actual day I got AAA, which I found surprising as I had been getting A*s in English Literature (one of my subjects) for the whole of sixth form. I’ve sent over my paper to be remarked because I was only one mark off an A*, but I’m worried that even if my grade gets increased, Kings won’t accept me because their places may have gotten full. I’ve tried calling them twice and been put on hold for 30+ minutes, I’ve emailed them and I used the Kings Apply portal, and literally cannot seem to get a response. Does anyone know how I can reach them and how likely it is to get accepted if my remark goes well???

Have you been put in for a priority review of marking? I would keep trying on calling them, even if you end up on hold for ages. I know it is annoying but there isn't much else you can do. You really need to discuss this with Kings. There is a good chance that they won't have spaces, but you definitely won't get one if you don't contact them. Do you have an insurance choice and if you do are you happy to go there?

my daughter had something similar with cambridge- one mark off an A*.
we got a priority remark and she got the grade so now just waiting for ucas to update
make sure you let KCL know you’re getting a remark- i’m sure all the universities will be expecting remarks and grade changes
I don’t see why if you get your grades for the offer, they won’t accept you. You have until 31 August to submit everything.
Keeping positive for you.
Send them and email asap as they are so busy they won’t answer the phones

This exact situation and exact course happened to me ahahah and I was fine, hope you are too x
