It requires me organising myself enough to write down a to-do list lol

Spoiler

For now, just start by writing down a list of everything you need to do. Then, you can spread those tasks out across different days. I usually draft my to-do lists on my phone first, since it's quicker to type than to write.

I finally actually have a theory test booked now, but it isn't for over two months because of the DVSA's incompetence. It does mean for now I can focus on getting a job, TSR stuff and writing my personal statement.

I really need to actually plan out my time so I can make the most of it, while I have it. The whole idea of doing that seems a bit overwhelming because I have very few things with fixed times.

Good to hear it finally got booked. Sorry to hear it was such a hassle to get it booked though :frown: Good luck with your job search and personal statement :crossedf:
I have another job interview coming up which is exciting. I'm not going to say any more about it now though.

I did some St John Ambulance training this morning which was useful, I'm hoping I will get to go out on more events soon.

I have started writing my personal statement, it is so hard to get over the awkwardness of talking about myself in the way that you need to in it. It is weird it being in three sections now, but I guess it makes it easier to structure.

Good luck with the job interview! And kudos for starting your PS, I'm still burying my head in the sand about it
It has been a little while since I updated this

Not much has happened to be fair as both events I was supposed to go to with St John Ambulance were cancelled (one was weather related, the other haven't a clue). I should be doing something soon though which is exciting!

I went to an open day and I really liked the university. I'm hoping I will go there as my top choice but it is a really selective course due to how low they keep student numbers. I feel I will do better in an environment with more one-to-one support. I have another coming up and I will keep an open mind, but they will have a very hard time matching the other university.

I've applied to more jobs, not heard back from more jobs. I'm carrying on with driving lessons, I have my theory test next month.

I'm going to see one of my favourite artists next month (as a birthday present!) and I am so excited! I saw her live when I was 8 at Latitude, but this is the first time I'm seeing her since I got more into her music.

Things are quite boring most of the time, and I am feeling quite left behind because everyone I know is off at uni and I can't even go to my local town without my parents driving me :sadnod:

Great to hear you enjoyed the open day!
Hope some ambulance-related opportunities come up soon πŸ™‚
Enjoy the music thingy!
I went to another open day (nearly a month ago now, man I should really update this more) and it has thrown some doubt on which university I should go to. There is just so much that I need to consider when I make a decision. That starts with actually submitting my application.

I have almost finished the first draft of my personal statement! Everything about it makes me cringe, but I know it can't be as bad as I think it is. It should be done soon (she says).

I saw Anna Calvi live last weekend and she was absolutely incredible! It was her first non-festival show since the pandemic which is wild. It was a present for my 20th birthday next month, I really enjoyed it.

It is two weeks until my driving theory test, which is kind of nerve wracking but it should be okay. I do need to practise though...

I will try to not abandon this for a month again

Thank you
I'm back again, only abandoned this for a week this time. My life isn't particularly interesting and I have been kind of busy.

I submitted my UCAS application this afternoon, so now I am nervously waiting to here if I will get interviews for my choices. I am not sharing where I am applying, will keep it a mystery

Just need to work on driving theory now as my test is next week, hopefully it will go better than last time (hopefully will actually sit it!)

Well done on submitting UCAS!

And good luck with your driving theory, you got this!
