Trying to become Project Manager (Construction)

I just finished my a levels and got A in epq and CCD. I only got into Westminster Uni to do the Architectural Technology Course. The actual course is fine if i want to go into project management but im not sure if it’s worth resitting and try to get into a better university. Or stay and do a lot of internships. I need some advice.

Employers don't tend to care which uni you go to. Having work experience and a good degree (2:1 or above) is more important. Do you get the opportunity to do a placement year on your course?

There are more specific degrees that lead directly to construction management -
Construction Management - BSc (Hons) - 2025/26 Entry | Birmingham City University
Construction Management BSc (Hons) Undergraduate Course | Nottingham Trent University
Architectural Technology is "a design discipline for building projects, combining technical and aesthetic expertise", not about managing large construction projects.
