How to go from E in biology to B/A?

I got my AS results and achieved an E but want a B. How anyone resat AS and achieved a B or A in the A level overall, and how did you do this?

Hard work. Every day between now and your exams. The reason you got an E was probably because you find the subject challenging and haven't done much in the way of homework or revision.

There are lots of websites out there or even ChatGPT who will give you tips on how to study and revise. The hard part is that you actually have to do that study. I can be done (just) but if you don't engage, nothing will change.

Good luck!

Talk to your teachers about what you need to do now. They will want to help to you.
And btw, spending your free periods studying and not just larking about in the common-room is usually a good place to start.

Hi, my recommendations would be to go to the bio subject clinics or arrange a meeting with your teacher to discuss what you need to improve on. I would then do topic-based questions or skills-based questions (would recommend Miss Estruch Biology Website or Cognito for these) on your weak topics. Maybe use a traffic light system, focusing on the hardest topics first (the red topics). Do make sure to keep up with revising the green topics but this can be done using regular flashcards practice. Make sure to be honest with yourself when developing the list of topics and they may change as you do mocks/topic tests.
