AS grades + cambridge

Hello! Today I got my AS grades back and I got AAAB in Mathematics, English Literature, History and Media, respectively. I want to study Education (BA) at Cambridge. As an international student, can I still make a competitive application even with the B in Media?

They don't negatively score, especially for irrelevant subjects. But maybe drop media to get A*s in the other subjects.

Just checking as I'm not sure what exam board you are doing or any differences with international students, do these AS results contribute to the overall A Level?

The B should not impact you. If the AS does contribute, you should at maximum be able to achieve A*A*A*A with those grades. The minimum offer for Education is A*AA. They also don't need 4 A Levels and you won't be at a disadvantage for doing 3, so if you want to drop Media it shouldn't impact your application either
