Hi there (:

If this is a lanyard your meaning to pop a student id in then yea worth getting as saves you from racking through your bag as much when your needing (: + means you always know you've got it on you, on my lanyard i've also got my flat keys attached with a wee note explaining where to hand them in if lost just incase!

its not one of those essential essential things to get before, but once your at uni it will likely be useful for just quickly buzzing u into places that require student id! 😊
