Gcse results day

Does anyone have this crippling fear that they’ve done so much worse in their actual exams than what was predicted for them or what they did in their mocks? I’m so afraid of disappointment on results day, the anxiety is making me physically sick.

Why are you so afraid of doing worse than you were predicted?

Even if you have done so much worse, there is nothing you can do about it right now. Because it is making you physically ill, I would consider speaking to your GP about the anxiety.

Hi there,

I understand where you are coming from, and I was overthinking my grades so much and trying to remember the answers I wrote in the exam. There is nothing you can do about your grades now. However, I know that this is easier said than done.
As you have mentioned the anxiety is making you feel physically sick, have you considered speaking to a GP?

Kind regards, Jenifer (Kingston rep)

Same honestly I feel like I’m gonna get nowhere near the grades that I got in my mocks and it’s making me so scared to actually receive them
