Uni rejected me despite verbal offer made?

Hi everyone, recently received a biomedical science bsc hons clearing offer from KCL both verbally and through email.

However, I did not have any ucas account, and the admission officer said he’ll make a new application for me and told me to refer to ucas still, so I made a new account and referred to ucas before the deadline. Since it was last minute, I didn’t have a reference and thus I submitted it without it.

Today, I checked my ucas and it said the clearing offer was rejected, due to a lack of a verbal offer. But I had received both verbal offer AND an email. What do I do? Thanks!
