Rough timetable of MSc Speech & Language therapy at BCU?

Hi! I was just wondering if anyone has any information about the timetable for the Speech and Language Therapy Master’s at BCU. I’m mainly trying to get a general idea of what the weekly timetable will look like (how many days a week you’re usually in, what the lecture hours are etc). I know it probably varies from year to year but any insight would be really helpful just so I know what to expect. Thanks so much!

Hi there!

I don't study your course personally, but I can have a look into this for you and see if there's anymore information I can find.

My own personal timetable has varied throughout my time at BCU, and you may have some days with more going on than others. And like you say, it can vary from year to year but I'll see if I can find any more info for you!

Hi there!

I asked some of the BCU reps about this for you and they have recommended getting in contact with your course tutors. You can get in contact with the tutors for your course here - https://www.bcu.ac.uk/courses/speech-and-language-therapy-msc-2025-26#facilities_staff - to see if they can give you some more guidance on this before you get your official timetable.

I know I study a different course of Fashion Design, but just as an example of how my course was structured is I would have lecturers and tutorials on Mondays and Tuesdays 10am-5pm each week, then the rest of the week was private study. I was in for full days as my course required time making in the studio, so I only spent around 2 hours a day in an official lecture. Like I say, your schedule may look different, but I thought an example could help.

I would get in touch with your tutors if you can too to find out more course specific information.

All the best. 🙂
Emily
