Skipping Year 9 and going straight to Year 10

Due to my age I will not be doing Year 9 and will start directly in Year 10 in the UK.
How difficult is this academically?

Starting directly in Year 10 means you’ll be jumping straight into GCSE work, so it can feel like a step up academically. Teachers will support you, and going over some Year 9 basics in maths, English, and science can make the transition smoother. Also, keeping on top of homework and asking teachers for help early on can really help.
