James accommodation catered

I have been offered James accommodation catered and shared bathroom altho wanted east campus self catering and en suite . Does anyone want to swap ? Thanks

I was offered this but en-suite, which was my fifth choice.
I have booked off campus. Not sure but nicer. Good luck.

I got the same offer and booked off campus ^_^ did u go with vitastudent

I went with vita student my original offer was 9k for a catered shared bathroom in james so I just took an extra 1k out from my savings from work and booked it with vitastudent its only like a 20 min walk

Congratulations on your place at York! I'm sorry that you're not happy with the room you've been given, that's really frustrating.

As well as posting here, you could also join our 2025 Undergraduate Freshers' Facebook group, and post there to try and find someone to swap rooms with. When you join the group, you'll have to answer all four membership questions, otherwise your application will be declined. If it is declined, you can always apply again, but it’s better for everyone if it goes smoothly the first time! 😀
