Hi! I'm eager to get this discussion started, I think it's a lovely way of just ensuring that everyone feels heard of especially because this course is so tough.
So far (and I'm aware this is very nerdy of me) but I am really enjoying the course! We're currently on differentiation, just working through product rule, and I'm having a lot of fun. In our class we have a really relaxed atmosphere; my teacher is off so another teacher who takes Advanced is covering for us and she's been my teacher for N5 and Higher! So it's quite fun, also because I have many friends to work with 🙂
How about everyone else? Hope it's going well! What topics have we all covered? For me, we've done partial fractions, algebraic long division, and binomial theorem!

Nearly the same here- I've done partial fractions, binominal theorem, and right now I'm doing differentiation and Maclaurin's series

Yeah same for me we are doing differentiation now

How much of the course has everyone covered? I’m having to self learn everything and I just want to make sure I have learnt everything that I’ve needed to

self learning is crazy omg good luck! we're currently doing differential equations, idk about the other schools though

It’s not very fun when the only thing I have to guide me is AI and a bunch of notes as no teacher in my school can teach it :P
I hope your learning is going well!!!

For AH Maths, it’s basically just building on higher concepts such as calculus and vectors as well as new concepts such as matrices and proofs. In general, spotting patterns such as trigonometric equations, difference of two squares etc will make it a lot easier to solve and as always… PAST PAPERS. Past papers essentially help with everything, and especially with spotting certain mistakes that someone can keep making (especially the stupid ones when differentiating and integrating).
How is everyone feeling with their exam coming up soon?
