Student wellbeing - Psychotherapy course

I have a question for any students /graduates of a psychotherapy course.

I am hoping to start the pre clinical course in September for CAPT course and came across an article in the Guardian which said that as regulations in training for Psychotherapists are not rigorous that there is a lot of bullying and a toxic culture in the name of building you up to be a good psychotherapist. They also said the complaints process was not robust.

I was wondering what student experiences have been? I have undergone teacher training and encountered some similar behaviour and am not keen to move in to a similar situation as it was very challenging mentally and emotionally.
