Laptop or iPad + keyboard
I’m going to be studying Global Sustainable Development at Sheffield Uni and wanted to see if anyone has done this course (or similar) and if I could get away with my iPad and keyboard, or if there are any programs/software that I would need to download that only a laptop can handle?
Wouldn’t want to spend a crazy amount on a laptop, so just wanting to know if one would be worthwhile, or if I could get away without one?

It's great to hear you are starting your Global Sustainable Development course at Uni of Sheffield! I would imagine they would inform you if they required you to download any heavy/large software or programs.

Would you be writing up essays on the iPad?
You could get a way with a used premium business laptop for £200 or so.
