Hi! If you mean the Warwick Student Cinema, you can either purchase individual tickets or a membership which gives you cheaper tickets. I'm not sure if film students get any additional discounts or anything, but here is their SU page - you could try reaching out to them to ask. They also have opportunities to join the crew and help with projection/stewarding which might be of interest to you

I’ve been allocated cryfield townhouses for accommodation and noticed lack of storage (eg small desk with no shelves or drawers and small cupboard with no door). Does anyone know if storage is an issue and if so, any tips that will help without causing more clutter?

Hi there!

I stayed in Cryfield Townhouses in my first year and found storage to be no issue at all. Each room has a good amount of space, with plenty of room under the 3/4 sized bed (including a lockable cupboard) and a set of shelves behind the bed which are great for displaying items. You’ll also have a large wardrobe with plenty of hanging space, along with three drawers for extra storage.

On top of that, each floor (which has 4 rooms) comes with a shared storage cupboard that’s really handy for things like suitcases or anything you don’t need frequent access to.

Overall, I found there was more than enough room for everything I brought with me.

Best wishes,

Thank you that’s super reassuring! What’s storage like in the kitchen for both food and cooking equipment?

No problem at all!

Each kitchen is shared between up to 12 students. This results in each student getting their own 2 cupboards (most would use one for food storage and the other for cooking equipment), 1 drawer (ideal for cutlery), 1 fridge shelf and 1 freezer shelf each. Similarly to the rooms, I never found storage space an issue in the kitchen.
