Im curious since companies never specify until after the application process whether the top companies are usually hybrid or full time face to face in the office.

you'll usually have one day a week for study - whether this is online or face to face at uni depends on the company and the uni they choose (you should ask your employer)
with these things, you're not really able to gauge the attitude towards wfh until you're there - it can also vary by department too. if you can, maybe reach out to people on linkedin. there are also sometimes forums people post on re what its like to work at these companies. i know the legal industry have one (legal cheek/roll on friday) but not sure what the tech/finance equivalent is...
what companies are you looking into more specifically?
i think that they'll probably expect every day in the office when you start, then you can slowly go in to 1/2 days at home.
