Speech and Language Therapy at DMU
Hey! I am studying SLT at DMU this September. I was wondering if anyone else is going to DMU, or studying the same or similar subject as I haven't seen any comments about anyone else doing this.

It’s great to hear that you’ll be joining us to study Speech and Language Therapy at DMU! If you have any questions, we’re happy to help. Hopefully, someone from your course might see your post here, or you could also check out our group chats on the DMU “Chat to a Student” webpage.
If you don’t meet anyone before September, try not to worry. I didn’t know anyone beforehand either, and it was absolutely fine, I sat next to some lovely people on the first day and got to know them during the introduction weeks. There are plenty of opportunities to meet new people whether thats in your accommodation, on your course, at Fresher events or in societies / sports teams.
Remember everyone is in the same boat, and just as nervous and excited as yourself!
