Is it possible to self-study GSCE Physics within 8 months?

I didn’t do well in my GCSEs, and I’m going to start private lessons for maths. They don’t offer physics, so I’ll be starting physics from scratch. Is it possible to get a decent or good grade in 8 months self study?

Hi, I struggled with physics too and ended up getting a grade 8. I used the website cognito and found it very helpful. When I used it, it was all free but you may have to pay a subscription now. In my opinion it’s worth it! It has videos for each topic and then some follow up questions, and it explains everything very clearly.

I can’t see why not. All the adult educational colleges do their GCSEs in 8 months. I did English and got an 8 and maths a 4 ( predicted a 7. - grade boundaries were nasty that year).

It is intense and you’ll need to be on top of revision asap. Try it and see, you’re not loosing anything. Good luck.

Ps try to use memory mnumonics, blurting, flash cards, spaced repetition, mind maps etc.
