2 marks off a 5 in english language. 8s/7s in other subjects. Can i do a levels?

i got a 4 in english lang, but im not doing english and im wondering if i can still get into any sixth forms to do maths physics and chem a levels because i got 8s close to 9s (1 mark away in chem, 3 marks away in maths) but at this moment its looking horrible.

I think it depends on the sixth form that you would like to go to. For my sixth form, we have criteria for each subject, for example in Chemistry, they request for a 7 in GCSE Chemistry and a 7 in English (unspecified). Depending on the sixth form you want to go to, I think it is highly likely that you’ll get in, as you have achieved very high grades for the subjects that you’ve chosen to do. Just check what the sixth form asks of your grades but I’m sure you’ll get in. Good luck!
