English dissertation book choice help needed!!

My plan originally was to go for Dorian Gray and Jekyll and Hyde and to explore the route of moral corruption and the kind of split self in it, however I’m just slightly concerned that neither book is long enough (especially Jekyll and Hyde) and that I’d run out of things to say!! I considered Frankenstein too, but I don’t think it links to Dorian Gray that well and was unsure if it would be to too short to do on its own. I’d probably rather just focus on one book, but I have no books that I think are long enough and go in depth enough for me to write a dissertation on - so if anyone has any ideas or advice about my original idea, please say. Thank you

I forgot to mention that this is for advanced higher English in Scotland, where I’m expected to write 2500-3500 words for it.

I'm guessing that this is something similar to A-level lit coursework with the kind of content you're meant to write. For my essay, I wrote 2700 words about Frankenstein and two short stories by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. I think if you want to do Frankenstein, I think that you could definitely link it to Dorian if you're exploring morality/moral corruption with how Victor and the creature and presented /perceived. However, I think you could definitely do any of the books mentioned on their own if you wanted to. There is so much to say about them and you would absolutely not run out of things to say - 25k words may seem like a lot but it's rly not. The short stories I wrote about were only like 30 pages in total together, and half of my essay was about them - and there was so much more I could've written. Personally, I'd recommend writing about Frankenstein, but any of your picks sound like they'd make for interesting essays.
