Hi guys!
- I currently take maths, DT and physics (used to take FM but have dropped it for year 13)

- I play a lot of sport - mostly climbing and hockey - to take up my time but I also read, listen to lots of music and play DnD

- Tips I would give is make sure you understand the subject before moving forwards with revision and ask the teacher to clarify things for you early on as you should start revising too!

- Make sure you have other things that you enjoy outside of studying and take regular breaks to enjoy them

- I don't have too much of a plan for post 18 but probably uni or a degree apprenticeship

- Did you know that only 10% of people are left handed and it's usually genetically passed down?

- I love Kendrick Lamar and JID for rap music, both of their latest albums slap, I don't watch much TV but whatI enjoyed last was Twisters, now you see me, K-pop demon hunters, arcane and Top Gun - Maverick. I really recommend all of them!

Omg hiiiiiii! I think balancing is alright, for me, most of the time maths has basically been a free since I did IGCSE Further Maths, and further maths isn't too bad. But the chem thing is so real tho, like I'm not actually bad at chem but idk what's been going on lately, chem hasnt been chemming. In my school we do maths and fm both in y13

OMG AND YOU LIKE XG AS WELLLLL, A FELLOW MEMBER OF THE ALPHAZZZZ

Also i didn’t even clock ur music taste is teaaaaa. ALPHAZ RISEEEE! I like svt as well but im lowkey a local js know their most popular stuff but it’s all so good.

Hey!
1. I take maths, French and Spanish, as well as an EPQ
2. I crochet a lot in my free time (currently working on a window display for my local craft shop!) and I write music
3. For languages specifically, keep a log of statistics you find in articles, they’re really useful for speaking exams!
4. Don’t overwork yourself if you’re ill- you can still get good grades even if you’re off school often for things outside of your control, and working constantly doesn’t do that
5. University for languages, either French and Spanish or that with mandarin depending which universities I get into!
6. Maybe not going to lighten the mood, but we’re expected to lose over half of the over 8000 known world languages in the next century
7. The Good Place is an amazing series, and I love Adam Silvera books when I’m not reading in French and Spanish. Xana is also an amazing music artist!

Hihi! Just call me star ^_^

1) I take Math, Further Math and Computer Science! (Used to do physics as well but dropped that 💔)
2) I usually draw, play games or listen to music in my spare time lolol
3) "don't be a hero"- If you think something is wrong health wise, try to get it checked out as soon as possible!!! Trying to keep a brave face and push onward without seeking help is NOT worth it from personal experience
4) Try to leave some time for just yourself - you shouldn't just be studying all the time!
5) Planning to do a Computer Science degree at uni!! Might do deferred entry but still unsure lol
6) Did you know down karting was a thing? You get to ride karts down hills! It's really fun ^_^!!
7) Currently reading "Why Machines Learn" by Anil Ananthaswamy; it gives an overview of the math involved in AI. It's pretty good, and I'm gaining a greater appreciation for pure mathematics lolol. Also been rewatching some anime like Nichijou (one of my faves). ALSO ALSO finally got to watch KPop demon hunters!! It was such a fun movie ^_^

Hope everyone has a successful (and more importantly fun) year ahead!!

Hi guys! I'm Wisdom! (That's not exactly my name but it fundamentally is ig haha).

1.

I take Spanish national baccalaureate (quite different from anything in the UK, feel free to ask anything), with my subjects being Maths, Physics, Technological Drawing (do you even have that in the UK?), Chemistry, English (as a second language), Spanish Language and Literature, Philosophy and History!

2.

Piano, band, guitar, songwriting, reading, baking and I'm starting to get into music production and running!

3.

Have as many hobbies as you possibly can. "But I don't have the time!!" Of course you do. Having stuff to do helps with time management and it makes you get the most out of every minute and stop wasting so much time. You do have time, what you don't have are time management skills (not trying to say it in a bad way but really, hobbies are the best). Also, they make you more interesting, you meet similar people and you develop a unique personality of your own outside academics!

4.

Hygiene. Also, positive self talk because you're not the victim, but mostly hygiene.

5.

University! I'd go right now if I could, I'm fed up with school. I want to study Physics and Philosophy!

6.

It's 2:00 AM and my sleep deprived self is procrastinating something I want and need to do (sleep, which I haven't really done much in the past year).

7.

Go listen to Laufey. Right now, really. Also, I'd recommend reading, in general.

That's all! My goals for this year are being more motivated (I really need it) and more disciplined (same, it's a need). Also compmeting UCAS, getting into the unis I want, getting English C2 and participating in as many olympiads and competitions as my schedule allows!

Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Best wishes,

Wisdom ✴️

Of course 😭

Everest or more specifically the crust is rebounding upwards - I believe it's because a river merged with another nearly 100k years ago, increasing erosion and literally making the crust lighter.

With macro weather patterns idk I just like watching forecasts of systems crash into mountain ranges then looking at webcams of large snowfalls 😭

I see on Q6 on your post you're a fellow non sleeper (it's 2am 💀)
