To pursue a career in medicine, you need to achieve good A-level grades to meet university entry requirements. Additionally, you will need to take the UCAT and aim for a strong score. Most universities do not consider your GCSE results a significant factor unless competition is particularly high. I recommend getting a tutor for your UCAT preparation; I know someone who initially didn't and ended up having to resit the exam. Aside from that, gaining relevant work experience and participating in extracurricular activities will help enhance your personal statement.
Good luck, and God Bless!
