Open days - S5/S6?

Hey for those of you who went or are planning to go to uni after S6, when did you go to the open days? I'm in S5 and thinking about going to some but idk whether to wait until i'm in S6

Personally, i started going to open days in S6 in the lead-up to UCAS applications being due, but would reccomend having a wee look before that in S5 if you've got the time, just means a bit less to do all at once & probably feeling a little more sure of your UCAS choices!

With open days, even if your unsure of the exact course your thinking of applying for, you can get a bit of an idea from walking about the campus, chatting to people & some tours and talks on whether you could see yourself studying there!

When i was doing open days, id write a little list of pros/cons for each uni and then later on when i got home go through them to see which things were essential to me and narrow down my choices! 😊 - your also able to talk to other current students at these types of events, which is great for getting a feel for the area, the social life & the academics!
