Best Uni of Sheffield accommodation?

I’ll be going to Uni of Sheffield next year and I’m wondering which accommodation would be best for me. I want somewhere that’s not insanely loud, but still really social.

Lawrencefield, Curbar or Howden?

These are the only ones offering 21+ accom and I’ll be 22

Hiya,

While I did not stay in any of the accommodations that you mentioned, here are some reviews that you can see online from students who have previously lived in these places.

Lawrencefield - Reviews
Curbar - Reviews
Howden - Reviews

Based off of the feedback from students, it appears that Lawrencefield and Curbar are on the outskirts of Endcliffe so are a bit more quieter but it is still quite a communal living space and you will not feel isolated.

As someone who chose to live in the city accommodation offered by the University of Sheffield, I do not believe that there is an accom on campus that may feel isolating as there will be plenty of students in the flats around you and chances to socialise. You can also join societies to meet people with similar interests too!

Hope that helps,
Jivanthika
