Literature,Politics and History (A-Levels)

Would you consider them broad options?Career advice?Very indecisive 🙏

Hi! I'm going into year 13 with these subjects (and Media Studies), and I have personally loved them. I don't know what exam board/ unit options your sixth form/college does, but definitely check that you like the look of the content before going in. English and History are quite broad (I ~think~ they count as 'facilitating' subjects, which universities tend to like, if you are interested in going to uni), but Politics is obviously more specific. All of them have good transferable skills though; essay writing, critical thinking, summarising, analysing, etc. As for career options, I have no personal wisdoms to give lol. Off of the top of my head, you could go into journalism, teaching, research, film, broadcasting, anything you want really. In my opinion, the most important thing is that you enjoy the subjects you choose, as you have plenty of time to find which areas of them you like, and figure out what careers you might want.
