advice from lae stratford students?

hello! i'm enrolled in lae stratford, starting next week, and i just wanted to ask from anyone who might go there:
- are we allowed to use our own laptops/ipads?
- are things like binders provided from the school?
- are we expected to buy textbooks or are they provided ?

Hiiii I’m also enrolled starting soon so excited. Your allowed devices I’ve seen ppl with iPads and laptops from their tts. Have they emailed u since enrolling bcs im freaking out even tho i paid 😭

Hey for LAE, I was wondering what supercurricular opportunities they offer but particularly for the engineering/tech/computer science side of things. And do they offer help with gaining work experience? I know people who have gotten into engineering at Oxbridge from LAE but I want to know how they support their students. I've heard of the robotics team though. Also does LAE give entrance exam support e.g with the TMUA or MAT. I might go into computer science or engineering. Still unsure

Hi I'm a student at LAE stratford going into yr13 and happy to answer and questions (: ur allowed to bring in any devices though you don't use them in lessons usually for some subjects.However I know for geography and other essay based subjects loads of people use devices to make notes. Many people bring in ipads for study periods and breaks. Laptops are always available in the library.- Don't buy any folders I made this mistake! They will all be given to you just make sure you have notebooks/paper they don't tend to give them out. You dont have to buy textbooks free online versions are available for bio and chem I cant speak on other subjects but I'm almost certain the same applies. Happy to answer any more questions
