What a level should i take with bio and mathsl

I want to go into something in healthcare or special needs, for example as a speech and language therapist or something similar

I’m trying to decide my third alevel. I was going to do biology chemistry and maths, however I don’t think I’m very good at chemistry
I’m interested in media and got a 9 at gsce but I don’t want to do it as a career
I was considering environmental science instead of chemistry as it seems easier and more of what I’m good at. Although tanner aren’t many resources online

I’m considering doing 4 alevels and dropping one at the end of the term when I decide

Most healthcare courses require one science A level although a lot of (not all) SLT degree courses don't have any subject requirements. So it's fine to drop chemistry and choose something you are more interested in. Have you considered essay-based subjects such as psychology, geography, etc.?

So it would be okay to just do biology? I’ve been thinking of doing media as a third as a more creative alevel as it’s something I’m interested in and abit different. I could also do physcology as that’s quite related

Why do you suggest an essay based subject? Is it because it’s different or is it valued by universities? Thanks so muc!!!

Yes it is fine to just do biology. If you choose an AHP degree course you will be required to complete essays and a dissertation so an essay-based subject at A level would help you develop these skills. However, choose subjects that you enjoy and find interesting so that you will get good grades, and start looking at the entry requirements for a few SLT degree courses to make sure that your choices are fine. The following is a good search tool:

not sure what part of healthcare you mean. to be a doctor, chemistry is the obvious choice. to be a speech therapist or to work with special needs, psychology is a good a level. psychology would probably be good for nursing too
