anyone heard back from ucl for interviews send my portfolio on the 19th jan

For context last year i was an early applicant sent my portfolio in October 30th, predicted grades A*A*A was radio silent till late march 6 months later where i was rejected for portfolio not being good enough no interview, the stress was real reloading reddit, my email, SR daily for what felt like nothing. This year ive reapplied have my grades just below my predicted and worked insanely hard on the portfolio, if any other re applicants are applying let me know.

Hi everyone 👋
I’m not applying this year, but I studied at the Architectural Association in London. Thought I’d drop in because I remember how stressful this stage can feel.
If anyone has questions about portfolios, general preparation, or interviews, I’d be happy to share what helped me when I was applying. Feel free to reach out anytime!
Good luck to everyone applying it’s a tough process, but also a really exciting time!

What was de interview like in AA? Did you do interviews for UCL?

If you're applying to uni for Architecture for autumn 2025 entry, this is the place to introduce yourself to fellow applicants, ask questions and share your experience of applying so far:
What universities are you thinking of?
A level / BTEC/ IB / Higher predicted grades
Extra curriculars
Still thinking about where to apply? Have a look at the following thread regarding A level entry requirements for architecture:

anyone here applying to uon ?

I want to know what kind of text should be included in a portfolio. Do I need to explain every image, or what is the correct approach?

I reccomend looking at UCL and Cambridge portfolios on YouTube, the aim is to let the work speak for itself and keep the writing minimal but try to state what the idea was and what you did in the pieces to achieve it. Make sure you show clear development and the process that led to the current stage. That’s my advice but try look at some YouTube videos for reference. If you need any more help lmk
