Hi,

That sounds like a great choice. I’d recommend checking the entry requirements for the universities you’re interested in and thinking about what you’d enjoy studying, as this is important. History and sociology complement psychology well as humanity subjects, and if you wanted to add a science, biology can be helpful for understanding biopsychology.

To become a clinical neuropsychologist, the usual route is a BPS-accredited psychology degree followed by a doctorate in clinical psychology. You’ll need relevant clinical or research experience before applying for the doctorate, so getting experience early can really help.

Wishing you all the best with your studies

Psychology / Neuro at top Unis usually requires at least one core science subject, sometimes two - are you actually interested in science?

If you are planning to go to a top uni, you normally need at least 2 science subjects. Check the entry requirements of the unis you think you might want to go to and see what subjects they require you to have.
