A-level Choices

Hi,

I got my results yesterday and they're not quite what I expected to get.

I thought I would get an 8 in maths but I got a 7, and I thought that I would get a 6/7 in English Literature but I ended up with a 9.

I've always been a little conflicted on my a-level choices but decided to put down biology, history and maths.

I'd like to keep biology and history there but I'm unsure on my third option, I'm considering:
a.) biology, history and maths
b.) biology, chemistry and history
c.) biology, history and english literature

I'm not too sure what I want to do in the future yet but I'm looking into a career in law or one as a dermatologist or cosmetic chemist and obviously those are completely different careers.

Does anyone have any advice/tips??

Chem seems to fit well if you think you will enjoy it and do well

Hello!

Well done! Those are excellent grades.

Law doesn't require any specific A-Level subjects.

If you want to become a dermatologist, you'll need to study medicine, and most medical schools require A-Level chemistry to keep your options open.

For cosmetic chemistry, the most straightforward route is a chemistry degree, and that also requires A-Level chemistry.

If you're still able to change your options, I'd recommend switching to chemistry.
