Science A-Level 6-5 Combined

Hi,

This post is to help my friend (I’ve already sat my A-Levels and GCSEs).

We are wondering if there are any sixth-forms/colleges which can accept a 6-5 in combined science to take at least one of Biology and Chemistry at A-Levels in the North-West/West/North London region.
There is a good chance that the 6-5 will go up to a 6-6 after remarks but this is just in case it doesn’t and also because the spaces are full in some of sixth-forms we’re interested in which accept a 6-6.
Thanks

What grade did they get in maths?
You’d struggle with biology or chem with these grades to be honest.

Hey, they got a 6 in maths and they have reasons for the 6-5 and were regularly getting 7-7 type grades in the mocks previously
i agree that they would struggle initially still but I still think it’s worth trying (since you can switch subjects if needed) since they want to do something science related at uni

They should definitely teach themselves triple content before September
