Clearing on ucas did I do it wrong

Hi this if my first time using this website but I originally applied for English on ucas and got offers back however I changed my mind and went on to do art at a different place as a foundation year so I declined all my English offers yet my application and information was still saved on ucas, then was told I could no longer study that art course, so i decided to have a look at clearing on the ucas website and found a foundation art course for Northumbria and just applied through the website without calling anyone and they accepted it and says my place is confirmed. I just wanted to know if that is ok and If ill be fine because I didn’t calling or will they take back the place because I didn’t call however they’ve sent me emails saying thankyou for applying and all that and on ucas it says congratulations your place is confirmed, sorry if I’m overthinking this lol

I think you’ve done everything right. Ppl only call for clearing bc they can get confirmations as quickly as possible. Since you’ve gotten in, you’ve gotten your confirmation. If you’re still worrried, don’t be afraid to call up Northumbria; this is your uni now 🤗🤗🤗 also congrats 🥳

If the course you now have a place for isnt processed through UCAS - ie. you applied directly to that Uni or college - then you have nothing to worry about.

I didn’t call but had applied by searching on the clearing section of the ucas website and applied on there and it was the only one I had applied for and the next day I got an email saying I had an offer and my ucas application also updated to say place confirmed so is that ok

You will be fine, if it says on ucas you have the place you have the place, you will get contact from the uni and instructions on what to do, if your nervous contact the uni directly, they are there for you.
I applied through ucas just before the end of June deadline and got a place the next day, just like you, I have been nervous about it as it felt too easy, but have since had lots of contact with the uni and start very soon.
All will be great. Enjoy your art course.
I can't wait for mine to start
