Official Diagnostic Radiography Applicants Thread 2026

If you're applying to university for Diagnostic Radiography for 2026 entry, this is the place to introduce yourself to fellow applicants, ask questions and share your experience of applying so far.

A few questions to start the conversation:

Are you applying to an undergraduate or postgraduate course?

Which universities are you hoping to apply for?

Work/shadowing experience?

Anything else?

Share as little or as much information as you are comfortable with. :yep:

Just a heads up that funding for healthcare courses and eligibility for the NHS Learning Support Fund differs based on where you normally live and where you want to study. Read the following thread before you apply:

Comparing funding for healthcare courses in England, Scotland and Wales

The courses are all approved by the HCPC so are of the same standard. Where you do degree will not impact your employability.

Also, if you currently live in England and will get your student finance from SFE, read the following thread to see the potential impact on your finances if you study DR in Wales:

Hey, I've already got my application in. When should interviews be? I assume it'll be after the January deadline? I've already had all my "thanks for applying we'll be in contact shortly" emails from my top 3 - Lincoln, Hull and Sheffield Hallam

You can be invited for an interview at any time. Some unis might wait until after January but others will interview and make offers on a rolling basis.
