Don't worry at all. EVERYONE who applies gets questionnnaire if u meet basic entry requirements (ie AAA predicted with basic GCSE requirements)

as an aspirational absolutely. Whilst averages and deciles have gone up bear in mind in large part it is due to higher interest for international (I suspect less are interested in US now due to political
Situation there so more are looking at UK as viable options. The international highly inflate scores and remember dent apppicants perform much worse than med

where is your source for dent students performing lower than med?

Hi!! I'm a Scottish applicant too and I've applied to both Glasgow and Dundee! What stats are you applying with if you don't mind me asking? I haven't started interview prep yet but I feel like I should have already...

Not scottish but wasnt planning to start interview prep until I actually get an invite to interview (or during xmas hols just in case) as at the moment not feeling confident will even get any interviews and dont want to spend loads of time prepping if its not gaonna happen as that would just be so depressing! 🤣😳🙃

I would recommend that you do a little prep as if there is a offer of interview, usually there is 2 weeks time. And prep can be very overwhelming.

Thanks for the advice. Just bogged down with school work atm so was going to leave interview prep until xmas holidays as assuming interviews wouldn't be until January earliest anyways? Not expecting to hear about potential interviews until Mid december earliest? Is that timeline about right? Thought most interviews from Jan-March sort of timescale?

Makes sense. Good luck with everything.

You will get 26 points for your GCSE's and 1 point per A level until you reach 28 max points. They only score your top 7 A levels which must include science ones. That is the first cut then if they are oversubscribed and have too many people at the max points they will use UCAT as a decider. My GCSE's added up to 26 points but have no extra points from A levels nor contextual nor being welsh so decided too risky an option for me. I think worth the risk for you though as your A levels in hand give you a bump on the points.

if i got 7s in physics and chem, but 99998888877 at gcse, would they give me full points or not?

I think the 7 GCSE's scored have to include the two mandatory science subjects - biology and Chemistry so you would probably get 27/28 points. Though I am not entirely sure as didnt have to factor that in for mine. Best off checking with admissions. I do know that English language does not have to be factored into your top 7 as long as you meet the grade 6 entry requirements but I think the sciences (biology and chemistry might) but not 100% sure.
