And your question is ..... ?

Taking 4 A levels is pointless. No University requires or prefers this for Law and they will just ignore the 4th subject making it a total waste of time and effort. And, you risk messing up all your grades because you you took on an extra subject you never needed. Remember, AAA will always look better than ABBB - and that could cost you a Uni place.

Drop either Eng Lang or Law - or whatever you see as your weakest subject - and focus on the others.

I think your subjects are fine for law! My only concern would be the workload as you’ve picked 4 essay subjects - do you have the option to drop to 3 A-levels later on in y12? That way you could have a go at those 4 subjects, see how you find them, and drop the one you dislike most if the workload got too high

I agree with the other comments - 4 is too much, especially if they are all essay subjects. I did 3 essay subjects, and at the start of y12 wanted to do a fourth, bcz my gcses had gone well. I'm so glad I didn't, and having a 4th doesn't make you a stronger candidate, as unis dont require it. In response to your question, if you want to do law, any 3 of those 4 A-Level options are great, and are all compatible with your grades. The only one I would be wary of is the BIG step up for history (my friends who got 8/9s at GCSE ended up with Bs as History in the 6th form has a huge amount of content), so if you see this as your weaker subject, then maybe consider your options carefully.

I just finished doing OCR History for A level and I can say it is hard! I ended up doing quite well but it took a lot of time and effort compared to my other subjects. I would seriously whether you'll be able to do well in history especially with 4 subjects but then again it is a good subject to have for law (but you do have essay subjects).

As a traumatised ocr history student I would say consider very carefully if you want to take it. I got better at it and managed to get an A* in my mocks but it is not easy at all. I would also really recommend an EPQ over an extra a level. The skills are invaluable for uni applications and if you know your field, can put you miles ahead of other by using it to demonstrate your interest in your field  best part is you can finish it in year 12
