What Duryard Yeo is like (atmosphere, pros, cons, etc)

I’ve been allocated a room in Duryard Yeo House for this September at Exeter, even though it wasn’t on my preference list. Does anyone know if it’s still possible to request a change, ideally to East Park, or is it too late now?

I’d also really appreciate any reviews of Duryard Yeo House. I know it’s a bit further out, and while I did ask for quiet accommodation, I’m worried it might feel too isolated. Is the building modern or more dated, and have there been any issues with it in the past?

Hey, I got Yeo House as well. Im in a similar situation to you, I asked for a quiet accommodation but I didn't mean as quiet as what some people say Duryards like. From what I've read it depends on the people around you. My thoughts are that there will be quite a few people that are more social and didn't put Duryard down as a choice in accom - but maybe that's just me being overly optimistic. I hope for the best and that both of us can find people that want quiet but will still want some people and events here and there!
