What is the time table like at Kingston University for pharmacology with foundation year?? I am a commuter student and would really appreciate any idea of how many days I will be on campus and for how many hours? Thank a lot

First off, it's great to hear that you're coming to Kingston University this September! 🙂
The Foundation Year offered in the Pharmacology BSc (Hons) course is KU’s Science Foundation Year, which has 322 hours of scheduled learning and teaching; spread out across an average of 36 teaching weeks, this works out at approximately 9 hours of scheduled learning and teaching per week. These hours may be divided between several days of the week (e.g. four) or condensed into two or three depending on staff availability.
Although I can't provide you with a definitive course timetable (this still needs to be confirmed for the coming year by your course tutors/lecturers), timetables are usually available to students within 48 hours of enrolling. However, Wednesday afternoons are usually reserved for sports/society activities, so it's unlikely any lectures or workshops will fall on a Wednesday afternoon.
Online enrollment opens this Wednesday (27th August), so following your completion of that, you should hopefully have access to your full timetable by the end of this week.
Lots of KU students are commuters - in fact, over 50% of Kingston students lived at home or off campus in 2024! You certainly won't be the only student on your course commuting to uni, and there's lots of support in place for commuting students.
Hope this was helpful and best of luck, Eve (Kingston Rep).
